Stanford Invitational Sees Two Strong PerformancesPublished by
Stanford Invitational Sees Two Strong Performances Palo Alto, CA – Near perfect conditions and competitive events were the order of the day at the Stanford Invite on Saturday the 26th of March. Kyley Johnson led the way once again in the men’s high jump clearing 2.15m (7-0.5) to earn him a third place finish. “I’m happy,” said Johnson, “I’m getting over seven pretty consistently now and had some good attempts at 2.20 [meters], but I didn’t get it. I’ll take third, though.” The second fastest heat of the weekend’s 1500 heats saw Brayce Forsha run a long-awaited personal record of 3:47.64. “It was a good race,” says Forsha who is also off to a great start early in the season, “of course I wanted to get down to :46 or :45, but a PR is a PR and I’m happy!” These two certainly made a long trip
worth their while traveling from Portland and Eugene. We will
look for continued success for both Johnson and Forsha |
